Manila Airport closure extended to 10 PM due to Tropical Storm Paeng ("Nalgae")
Paeng Advisory No. 4
29 October 2022 as of 09:00 PM
Manila Airport closure extended to 10 PM due to Tropical Storm Paeng ("Nalgae")
To protect the safety of the traveling public, the aviation authorities have extended the temporary closure of Manila’s Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA – “MNL”) until 10 PM tonight, local Philippine time. This is precautionary, based on expected weather conditions caused by Tropical Storm PAENG (international name “NALGAE”).
We have put on hold all departures from Manila, and all departures from other airports, until after 10 PM. Several flights en route to Manila have been diverted to land in other airports until the Manila airport reopens.
If the closure is extended further, we will make the necessary urgent adjustments, including cancellations or delays, to our flights to and from Manila. Our paramount concern is the safety of our passengers, personnel and aircraft at all times.
In the meantime, we have CANCELLED the following flights:
